When we all learned that the DOJ had criminally indicted Donald Trump for espionage, it was because Trump had just announced it on Truth Social. It turns out Trump learned about it while he was near his “poolside cottage” at his golf property.
Trump wasn’t actually laying out at the pool when he got the call that he’d been indicted. But the notion that he was near the pool when it happened is still funny. This guy thought he was going to have some kind of poolside gathering with his advisers, and instead he finds out he’s going down for espionage.
