Secret Service is testifying against Donald Trump
Even as Donald Trump surrenders himself for arrest and processing in New York tomorrow, his legal troubles continue to multiply. DOJ Special Counsel Jack Smith is reportedly having Secret Service agents testify against Trump to the grand jury this week.
This reporting comes from Bret Baier of Fox News, and normally we don’t just take Fox at its word, for obvious reasons. But there would be no reason for Baier to be making this up, since it just makes Trump look bad.
What’s notable here is that if there were any “privilege” battles over the testimony of these Secret Service agents, those battles must have already been fought and won, or they wouldn’t be testifying. Jack Smith keeps getting closer to bringing his own indictment against Trump. Tick tock.
