MSNBC must fire Andrea Mitchell immediately
Andrea Mitchell has been consistently bad at her job for years. She’s now getting even worse. Today she allowed House Republican Byron Donalds to appear on her daytime MSNBC show and spew nonstop lies, even as she failed to push back on more than a small fraction of them.
Look, we get that late morning and early afternoon is a ratings wasteland for cable news networks, and they park their weakest hosts there because few people are watching anyway.
But at this point a trained giraffe following a script could do a better job than Andrea Mitchell is doing, because at least the giraffe wouldn’t put Republicans on the air and let them spew unchallenged lies. It’s time for MSNBC to immediately get Andrea Mitchell off the air before she does any more harm to the public discourse.
