Looks like Donald Trump has taken CNN down with him, as CNN’s ratings sink below Newsmax
If CNN boss Chris Licht thought he was somehow helping his network’s ratings and fortunes by holding that “Trump town hall,” there’s now proof of the opposite. Just a couple days after the town hall, CNN’s primetime ratings have plummeted so badly that it’s finished in fourth place – behind Newsmax.
Just how bad is this? CNN is aired on a broader array of carriers and platforms than Newsmax. So for CNN to finish behind Newsmax should be almost impossible. But that’s how badly CNN has fallen. No one is watching.
When Donald Trump goes to prison, one of the weirdest footnotes will be that he took a willing CNN down with him.
