Lauren Boebert gets totally spun around by witness in Republican House hearing
At this point House Republicans may be regretting having won a narrow majority in the midterms, because now it means they have to govern – or at least act like they’re governing. And it turns out they don’t know how to do that.
In a stunning moment in the latest Republican House hearing, Lauren Boebert tried to accuse the witness of supporting the legalization “public urination” in Washington DC. But she clearly didn’t do her homework, and the witness ended up totally spinning her around:

As a reminder, House Republicans like Lauren Boebert put together these hearings and knew who all the witnesses were going to be in advance. They should have had the upper hand in this hearing. But they’re just that terrible at this.
