Kyrsten Sinema is toast
It’s bad enough for Senator Kyrsten Sinema that early polling has her in a distant third place in a three way race between her, Democratic candidate Ruben Gallego, and the undetermined Republican candidate. Now she’s getting even worse news.
Sinema seemed to think by shifting sharply and corruptly to the right, it was going to attract the support of Republican and independent voters. But it turns out no one is excited about Sinema in 2024.
The Wall Street Journal says that Sinema is doing extremely poorly in small dollar donations for 2024. Even if she tries to make up the fundraising deficit by corrupt means, it’ll bad news for her in another way. When you’re doing poorly in small dollar donations, it usually translates to doing poorly on election day. So it helps to confirm the ugly poll numbers she’s seeing.
