Jack Smith is “hip-deep in evidence” against Donald Trump, and rest assured there’s “a lot more” to come
The fiercely comprehensive yet narrowly specific nature of the text of Jack Smith’s criminal indictment against Donald Trump suggests that there’s a lot more coming. That’s not just our take. Even John Bolton of all people agrees with us.
Bolton tweeted that we can be “almost assured” that Jack Smith has a lot more evidence against Trump than what he’s included in the indictment text, and that prosecutors are surely “hip-deep in evidence.”
Keep in mind that this will be far from Jack Smith’s only criminal indictment against Donald Trump. Smith will certainly indict Trump for January 6th, perhaps within weeks based on how advanced the grand jury process appears to be. And Smith could bring additional charges against Trump in the classified documents probe as well.
