When it took Kevin McCarthy fifteen votes to narrowly get elected “Speaker” of the House, and the only with the help of toxic whack job Marjorie Taylor Greene, it was a matter of time before it began to slip away from him. Sure enough it’s already happening.
House Republicans aren’t just talking about getting rid of Kevin McCarthy, they’re going as far as running their mouths to the media about it. McCarthy’s latest failure over the budget talks has apparently “ramped up the level of conversations” among House Republicans about getting rid of him.
Once House Republicans’ budget stunt finishes blowing up in their faces – and it will – is that when they’ll oust McCarthy over it? Stay tuned.
