Donald Trump runs and hides from E. Jean Carroll
With all his last minute delay tactics failing, Donald Trump now appears to be less than a week from the start of his E. Jean Carroll civil trial. Carroll says she’s going to attend. Trump is already making excuses for potentially not attending.
Donald Trump’s attorney is now claiming that Trump may not be able to attend due to “logistical burdens” – and he apparently wants the jury to be instructed that Trump wanted to be there? Okay this is weird:
So Tacopina asks that if Trump doesn't come — and he's still withholding an answer on that — the jury should be told his absence avoids "logistical burdens" on the court and that he is "excused" unless either party calls him as a witness. 2/ pic.twitter.com/vdzWAIV89f

.
Of course if Donald Trump is called as a witness, he’ll have to show up and testify, even if he’s not there at the start of the trial. In the meantime it sure looks like he’s trying to run and hide from E. Jean Carroll for as long as he can. Tick tock, Donald.
