Donald Trump probably shouldn’t be talking about his “convictions” right now
Donald Trump keeps trying to put on a defiant face about his criminal indictments. Trouble for him is, he’s pretty transparent. Trump wants us to believe that his criminal justice system problems will all magically go away and he’ll somehow be a candidate in the 2024 election.
But Trump just released a new ad which ends with the line “That’s called having the courage of your convictions.” Wait a minute here. Does this guy really want to be talking about his “convictions” right now? He’s months away from being convicted on thirty-four felony charges in New York, and thirty-seven felony charges in the DOJ case, along with whatever comes next. Trump just unwittingly reminded everyone that he’s indeed about to start racking up “convictions.”
