Donald Trump Jr. has bonkers new meltdown ahead of his father’s indictment
Donald Trump Jr. knows he can’t save his father from indictment, so instead he’s engaging in the same kind of fantasy that his father is deluding himself with: that someone who’s being criminally indicted in multiple jurisdictions is somehow going to be able to function as a presidential candidate while dealing with the criminal justice system.
To that end, Donald Trump Jr. has decided that Ron DeSantis is the real enemy, for not defending Donald Trump strongly enough: “So DeSantis thinks that Dems weaponizing the law to indict President Trump is a ‘manufactured circus” & isn’t a “real issue.’ Pure weakness. Now we know why he was silent all weekend. He’s totally owned by Karl Rove, Paul Ryan & his billionaire donors. 100% Controlled Opposition.”
This is hilarious. Donald Trump is getting taken off the board by prosecutors in multiple jurisdictions, and now he and his family members are trying to take down the guy who’s currently in second place in 2024 Republican primary polling, just so they can pretend to themselves that Trump is somehow going to be viable.
