Delusional Donald Trump declares that he just had the “best day in history”
Donald Trump knows that his indictment and arrest make him look weak in the eyes of his right wing supporters, and he’s desperate to try to make himself look strong in all of this. Trouble is, he doesn’t know how to spin it.
Trump’s latest social media meltdown is so bizarre, it’s tricky to even try to parse it:
As much as I can enjoy a day like Tuesday, where the Radical Left Lunatics, Maniacs, and Perverts had me Indicted and ARRESTED for no reason whatsoever, there was no Crime, it was an unbelievable experience, perhaps the Best Day in History for somebody who had just suffered Unjustifiable Indictment!
Really? He had the “best day in history”? He was arrested for thirty-four felonies and he’s awaiting a criminal trial that’ll put him in prison if he’s convicted.

False. Trump’s poll numbers haven’t moved at all as a result of his indictment.

That’s a surprisingly small numbers, given how thoroughly Trump’s remaining supporters should be rallying around him over something like this, if they still cared. Which they don’t.
