Alvin Bragg reveals more about Donald Trump’s felony charges
When Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg criminally indicted Donald Trump on thirty-four counts of corporate record keeping fraud last month, he made all the charges felonies. That requires an additional criminal element, which wasn’t disclosed at the time.
Now that Trump’s criminal defense team has filed a request for more information on what that criminal element is, Bragg has revealed that the additional criminal element relates to tax law and election law. If this sound vague, that may be the real story here. Bragg is still trying to avoid revealing any more detail than necessary about what these additional criminal elements are. Makes us wonder if even more charges, related to tax law and election law, are coming in Manhattan. Stay tuned.
