This is just ugly for Kyrsten Sinema
Kyrsten Sinema has long seemingly been available to the highest bidder. Since getting elected to the Senate she’s gone from being a progressive to a moderate to right winger who hangs out with Mitch McConnell.
If you want a better understanding of why she’s gone the direction she has, follow the money. A group called “Replace Sinema” has done just that, and it turns out it’s quite ugly:

The second biggest takeaway is that over $530,000 of her haul came from only three private equity firms.
