Inspector General who tried to protect Trump is in deep trouble
One of the biggest rocks overturned by the January 6th Committee was when it discovered that the Homeland Security Inspector General was attempting to suppress evidence related to Donald Trump’s attempt at overthrowing the government. He’s been under federal investigation ever since. But now that investigation is much bigger, and according to the Washington Post, he’s in much bigger trouble.
This is a good reminder that while these kinds of probes take time, they usually get their man in the end. This rogue Inspector General isn’t going to skate. And neither is Donald Trump.
