All eyes turn to Wednesday for Donald Trump indictment
The testimony of former National Enquirer boss David Pecker today to the Manhattan grand jury is proof that the criminal case against Donald Trump is alive and well, even after Trump falsely declared it dead over the weekend.
But Pecker’s testimony reportedly took up most of the day, and now the New York Times is saying that no indictment vote took place today. This particular grand jury meets on Mondays and Wednesdays. This means all eyes are now on Wednesday for Donald Trump’s indictment.
If Pecker was indeed the final witness in the case, and there are no further delays in the case, Wednesday would be the logical day for Trump’s indictment. Once there are no more witnesses, there is nothing left but the prosecutor’s closing argument and a grand jury show of hands – which is a process that takes far less than a full day.
